Folk Dance Ensemble Iglika is the first children's dance troupe founded in town of Plovdiv - Bulgaria.
FTA Iglika was founded in 1949 as a dance troupe "Pioneer flame" at the Cultural center "Pionerski dom" town of Plovdiv. Its founder and first leader was the Dean of the Bulgarian Georgi Shishmanov choreography. In the coming years in the creative history of the Chamber entered a series of awards and accomplishments fruit of labor of hundreds of children under the guidance and training of eminent choreographers Stephen Doganov, Maria Russinova and Tanya Kostova. |
